NFL fans are teeing off on the Washington Commanders after their new team slogan was revealed to the public.

The Washington Commanders are entering the second year of the Josh Harris ownership era, and there’s an exciting buzz around the NFC East club for the first time in years. Washington has a new general manager in Adam Peters and a new head coach in Dan Quinn, not to mention that they’re about to select a potential franchise-changing QB with the No. 2 pick in next week’s NFL Draft.

As the Commanders begin a new era of football, the team decided to introduce a new three-word slogan: “Anybody. Anywhere. Anytime.”

The Commanders began sweeping changes after missing the postseason for the third straight year in 2023. Head coach Ron Rivera was let go after a four-year stint, and Peters was brought in to take over the GM role from Martin Mayhew, who remains a senior personnel executive.

This once-proud franchise won three Super Bowls between the 1982 and 1991 seasons under legendary head coach Joe Gibbs. But the team sunk into embarrassment and irrelevance under disgraced former owner Dan Snyder, who bought the team in 1999.

Washington went 164-220-2 during Snyder’s 24-year run as the club owner. They only won two postseason games, with the last one coming in the 2005 season. Following a disappointing first year under Harris, we’ll see if the Commanders can ace the draft and re-emerge as a relevant organization in 2024.

Washington Commanders Are On The Right Track

The Commanders will soon get a can’t-miss QB prospect in LSU’s Jayden Daniels, North Carolina’s Drake Maye or Michigan’s JJ McCarthy.

That will be a nice finishing touch on a busy offseason that has seen Washington land several veteran impact players in Dorance Armstrong, Bobby Wagner, Austin Ekeler, Tyler Biadasz and Frankie Luvu, among others.
