Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill came out firing at Colin Cowherd after the sports analyst disrespected his team.
The Fox Sports host poured cold water on the Dolphins’ 22-20 win over the Cowboys after previously claiming Dallas would ‘blow them out’.
Cowherd also claimed Miami hadn’t achieved anything ‘remarkable’ to merit the respect the Dolphins have been calling for, playing down their playoff chances.
‘It’s not my job to give you respect,’ Cowherd said on his show, ‘The Herd’. ‘It’s my job to be honest. You have a singular playoff win in 23 years.’
Hill hit back on social media, quote-tweeting a post, which shared the clip of Cowherd’s criticism.
‘What sport has this thug played again,’ Hill asked, alongside an upside-down smiling face emoji.
Miami’s Christmas Eve win over the Cowboys set up a battle for the AFC’s top seed against the 12-3 Baltimore Ravens on New Year’s Eve.
But despite the Dolphins having the opportunity to enter 2024 as the top team in the AFC, Cowherd remained unconvinced of Miami’s chances in the postseason, stating its previous record.
’23 years is the last time you won a playoff game, 23 years of nothing remarkable,’ Cowherd said Wednesday.
Oh boy. Colin Cowherd has his message for Dolphins fans:

‘This past weekend you didn’t win a Pulitzer, i.e. a Super Bowl. You didn’t even win an award, i.e. a playoff game. You beat a Dallas team that is talented but strangely bad on the road.
‘Miami is constantly seeking validation and respect. “Let’s give us some credit, Colin.” That’s Visa, MasterCard. That’s not my job to give you respect, it’s my job to be honest.’
His reaction came just days after he predicted ‘fake’ Miami would suffer a heavy defeat to the Cowboys.
‘I’ve had my doubts about Miami all season long,’ Cowherd said on December 22, two days before the game. ‘The Dolphins are a perfect representation of Miami. They’re fun, they’re exciting, they’re flashy and a little fake. … Miami is a lot of fake tough guy. Fake Gucci bag.’
He added: ‘I think Dallas is going to blow them out.’
And it’s clear that Cowherd’s unimpressed reaction to the Dolphins’ best win of the season hit a nerve with Hill.
As the crunch test against the Ravens approaches, Hill insisted he was ready for the challenge.
‘So I believe going against the Ravens will be a good test,’ Hill said.
"I think Dallas is going to blow them out. They're going to push them around… One team doesn't have to have a fake Gucci bag. They've got a real one."

‘Looking forward to it. They’ve got a good defense, real good team at that. It’s going to be fun.
‘We can’t take no match-up lightly. So it’s going to be dope. Hopefully it don’t rain.’
In a potential Super Bowl dress rehearsal, Baltimore humiliated the San Francisco 49ers 33-19 on Christmas Day.
And off the back of the rout, the Ravens head into the Week 17 matchup with the Dolphins with the chance to seal the AFC No. 1 seed.
