Our weekly SB Nation Reacts survey won’t have any fancy graphics this week, but I wanted to get the results of the questions asked this week. First off, after reaching an in-season high of 98% just a few weeks ago, our overall confidence in the direction of the Denver Broncos (+3) has fallen to 68%. Still reasonably high for this late in the season compared to past seasons.

This came after the Broncos made a change at quarter by benching Russell Wilson in favor of Jarrett Stidham. That decision played out in a defensive 16-9 win over the Los Angeles Chargers (-3.5) last week. Which brought us to our first question.

Did the Broncos make the right decision to bench Russ?

Yes 82%
No 18%

Clearly Broncos Country was very much in favor of the benching and supported the decision fully after Denver got back to .500 with their win last week. However, it is unlikely that Stidham is the future which leaves us with the unfortunate situation of needing a quarterback in 2024.

Should the Broncos target a QB in the first round?

Yes 78%
No 22%

It doesn’t sound like free agency is the route fans want to go here based on these results. I’m in agreement that the first round is likely the best chance for the Broncos to find a long-term option at the quarterback position.
